Robbinsville, New Jersey December 4, 2020 — The Drug, Chemical & Associated Technologies Association is pleased to announce a special thought leadership forum, Sharp Sourcing: Global Thought Leaders in Pharma Sourcing and Supply Management that will focus on Pharma’s Manufacturing and Supply Lines: New Ways for Risk Mitigation Post COVID-19. The program will take place on Tuesday, January 26 from 11 AM to 12:30 PM ET and was developed by DCAT’s Supply Management Committee to provide valuable insights on how companies can further strengthen their sourcing and supply practices to mitigate risk and assure supply of ingredients and materials used in drug manufacturing.
The forum will feature a panel of industry experts who will address how pharma companies and their suppliers can reduce vulnerabilities in their manufacturing and supply networks, the key issues surrounding the onshoring of drug manufacturing in the US and the EU, and sourcing from China. The panel of experts includes Laurie J. Chipperfield, Senior Director, Global External Supply at Pfizer Worldwide Research & Development, Andrew D. Skibo, Chief Manufacturing Officer at FluGen & Former Head of Global Biologics Ops at AstraZeneca, and Chad P. Bown, PhD, Senior Fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics.
