DCAT Hosts Virtual Women’s Networking Breakfast

Robbinsville, New Jersey March 25, 2021 – The virtual DCAT Women’s Networking Breakfast was held on March 24th and included an optional coffee talk networking session followed by an interactive webinar and live Q&A with Erica Dhawan, a leading authority on Connectional Intelligence (CxQ).

The DCAT Alliance for Industry Women Committee decided to offer this virtual event so that members could still hear the speaker originally selected for the Women’s Networking Breakfast.

Prior to Erica’s presentation, DCAT member company representatives had the opportunity to chat and exchange introductions remotely through the web-based video conferencing platform, Remo. The event was sponsored by Ancillare and hosted by DCAT Alliance for Industry Women Committee chair, Elena Polansky (Global External Supply – Internal Medicine Portfolio Lead at Pfizer, Inc.). All registrants also received a digital copy of Erica’s book, Get Big Things Done: The Power of Connectional Intelligence, compliments of book sponsor Vetter Pharma International GmbH.

According to Erica, Connectional Intelligence is “the capability to unlock new and unrealized value by maximizing the power of networks and relationships.” In today’s digitally-enhanced world, it’s important to debunk our traditional views on performance metrics and reimagine ways to engage, create, and innovate. The four principles of Connectional Intelligence are: 1) value visibly; 2) communicate carefully; 3) collaborate confidently; and 4) trust totally.

Erica offered several real-world scenarios throughout her presentation so that attendees could relate, contemplate, and share personal experiences/ideas. In order to create a “better normal” within any professional environment, one must not only adapt, but transform.

Registrants were also given exclusive access to Erica’s Digital Body Language toolkit. Click here to learn more about Erica’s work with Connectional Intelligence.
