  • DCAT Member Companies will receive priority consideration; however, non-members with relevant expertise are encouraged to apply
  • Senior leaders, industry experts, or decision makers with direct influence on key areas of the bio/pharmaceutical industry, including R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and business development.
  • Co-presentations highlighting successful industry partnerships or collaborative projects demonstrating measurable impact are encouraged.
  • Special consideration will be given to applicants who can include a patient or former patient in their presentation, providing a firsthand perspective that enhances the understanding of industry impact.
  • Presenters outside the bio/pharma industry are invited to address broader topics such as innovation management, technology integration, sustainability, and global business strategy.
  • Applicants must demonstrate strong communication skills, fluency in English, and prior experience presenting on relevant industry topics. An engaging and dynamic presentation style is essential.
  • Presenters must be available to participate in networking events, panel discussions, and follow-up conversations throughout the two-day Summit to maximize attendee engagement and collaboration opportunities.

To ensure a well-rounded and impactful event, that agenda and number of participants will be determined based on the number of applications selected within each subject-matter category. The balanced approach ensures diverse industry representation while maintaining a focused and cohesive program structure. The program elements will include:

  • Thematic Panel Discussions
  • Individual Presentations
  • Co-Presentations
  • Networking Events

Selected applications from a mix of critical industry areas will provide the Summit at Lugano ’25 with a dynamic platform for knowledge sharing, professional growth, and collaborative innovation.

• Proposed presentations must address key challenges or advancements in bio/pharmaceutical manufacturing, supply chain management and external partnerships.
• Topics should explore innovative strategies that enhance supply chain resilience, operational efficiency, and product accessibility.


2. Industry Expertise & Leadership:
• Presenters should be recognized as experts or senior leaders with proven experience in bio/pharma manufacturing, procurement, logistics, or supply chain optimization.
• Case studies, successful project implementations, and real-world examples of process improvements are highly encouraged.


3. Technology-Driven Innovation:
• Presentations must showcase the application of technologies like AI, data analytics, automation, or innovative manufacturing tools that improve production, quality control, or distribution.
• Future-focused insights on tech-driven process innovation, investment trends, or evolving market demands are welcome.


4. Supply Chain & Manufacturing Impact:
• Submissions should demonstrate measurable contributions to solving industry challenges such as global drug shortages, capacity constraints, supplier partnerships and cost containment.


5. Collaborative & Actionable Strategies:
• Proposals emphasizing cross-industry collaboration, partnership models, or shared best practices in manufacturing and supply chain operations will be prioritized.
