DCAT presents a special thought leadership forum

Pharma’s Manufacturing and Supply Lines:
New Ways for Risk Mitigation Post COVID-19

Developed by volunteers on DCAT's Supply Management Committee
  • When: Tuesday, January 26, 11:00 to 12:30 PM ET.
  • Pricing: Members: $99 • Non-Members: $299

How can your company further strengthen its sourcing and supply practices to mitigate risk and assure supply of raw materials, intermediates, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), and other materials used in drug manufacturing?  The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has obliged a re-evaluation of manufacturing networks and supply lines. Is your company doing all that it can do?

This 90-minute webinar brings together a panel of industry experts to offer valuable and practical insights into what companies need to consider and the options available to them for further fortifying their manufacturing and supply chains. This webinar will address:

  • The New Normal in Manufacturing and Supply Networks: Gain an inside-the-trenches view of the extent, and how, pharma companies and their suppliers can reduce vulnerabilities in their manufacturing and supply networks.
  • Increasing Domestic Drug Manufacturing: Both the US and the EU have had policy proposals to either require or incentivize the onshoring of drug manufacturing. What are the key issues surrounding trade, what is the financial impact, and what may be the options for policy makers?
  • Sourcing from China: China is an important source of chemicals, raw materials, intermediates, and APIs, but do supply chains have to be re-evaluated to mitigate supply risks, and if so, what sourcing and supply practices can reduce vulnerabilities? How are other issues, such as evolving trade policies, further affecting sourcing strategies from China?
