Press Release

DCAT Week ’17 Recap

Robbinsville, NJ, USA  April 10, 2017 – Last month's DCAT Week, held in New York City from March 20-23, brought together thousands of leaders, innovators and decision makers involved in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing and its related technologies. From members-only networking events to industry education programs, DCAT Week offered member companies the opportunity to network, learn about industry trends from top professionals and hold private business meetings in the event's eight official hotels.

Highlight's of DCAT Week '17 include Former UK Prime Minister David Cameron as the Annual Dinner keynote speaker, several new networking events, members-only lounge space in three hotels and the introduction of the DCAT Week Mobile App, which gave members access to attendee information, program details, schedules, company locations and much, much more.

The energy surrounding the growth of DCAT Week is palpable, and the organization is pleased to share that this year’s event had the largest attendance to date. Several new properties served as Official DCAT Week hotels, and the InterContinental New York Barclay joined the DCAT Week lineup again after a 2-year hiatus during which the property was completely remodeled. The organization enjoyed hosting many of its programs and events in the new ballrooms and meeting spaces.

Also, for the first time in its 91-year history, the DCAT Annual Dinner was held in a location other than the Waldorf Astoria. The New York Hilton offered the more than 2,000 dinner attendees an elegant, spacious venue for the evening's festivities.
