Robbinsville, NJ, December 15, 2016—The Drug, Chemical & Associated Technologies Association (DCAT) is pleased to announce the release of its DCAT Week ’17 brochure featuring the new venues, education programs, networking events and services that will be available during DCAT Week, to be held on March 20-23, 2017 in New York City. DCAT Week ’17 will feature new venues for business meeting space, education programs, networking events, and member services. The organization has reserved business meeting spaces at eight Official DCAT Week Hotels for high-level strategic meetings for its members. Due to the closing of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel for renovations, the DCAT organization has relocated members who held business meeting space in the Waldorf to surrounding area hotels. It has also moved its DCAT Week headquarters to the InterContinental Barclay.
To accommodate its growing membership, member lounge space has been expanded. Three new member lounges at the InterContinental Barclay, Lotte New York Palace, and Omni Berkshire Hotels offer members a place where they can relax with colleagues, answer email and enjoy a beverage. The Palace lounge will include a quiet workspace section.
The DCAT Annual Dinner is also being relocated from the Waldorf Astoria to the Grand Ballroom in the New York Hilton which can comfortably accommodate all 2,200 DCAT members and their guests. Complimentary shuttle service between all eight Official DCAT Week Hotels and the New York Hilton will be provided for dinner guests.
Kicking off the week will be the Member Company Announcement Forum, in which registered DCAT member companies may announce major company news, including company strategy developments, acquisition activity, or expansions.
DCAT Week ‘17 will feature six education programs that will provide outlooks for the performance of the global pharmaceutical industry and the market for pharmaceutical outsourcing as well as best practices on issues impacting the pharmaceutical company–supplier relationship. The Business Builder program is a professional skills building session for DCAT member company representatives that will provide practical tools and insights on nonverbal communication to advance global business relations from body language expert Chris Ulrich.
In addition to the ever-popular DCAT Member Company Networking Reception, a Late Night Comedy Club & Networking Event has been added to the schedule so that members can join colleagues and friends for a good laugh with two of New York City’s best comedians.

The DCAT Week Member Company Meeting Locator lists the hotels where member companies have meeting space to assist members in scheduling their meetings.
Each of the Official DCAT Week Hotel lobbies will have a clock stand so that members can still tell their customers to “meet me at the clock,” continuing the tradition of the famous clock at the Waldorf Astoria.
